Mother’s Day 2024 at Queen’s Park, Toowoomba

In 2024, I made another big move—this time to Toowoomba, Queensland. Drawn by better job opportunities and the vibrant, earthy spirit of the Garden City, I found myself in a place that truly feels like me. I relaunched my floral venture once again, this time with deeper roots: I’m now a certified horticulturist and working full-time in a plant nursery, growing my skills—and my confidence—every day.

My first market in Toowoomba was quiet, but warm. The crowd was slow but supportive, and I was reminded that showing up is half the magic. My sister has been my biggest cheerleader through it all—up at 4 am, setting up the stall in the rain, never once complaining. Her dedication gave me the strength to keep going, and I’m determined to keep turning up for this community, rain or shine.
